There are a few steps that you may need to take prior to your non-surgical facelift with Nova Threads to promote healing.

• Avoid taking products that contain aspirin. If you take these

• Stop smoking and drinking alcohol prior to the procedure
• Avoid supplements that contain Vitamin E, as well as garlic, fish oil, ginger tea, green tea, chilli ginseng, and krill oil
• Advise us if you take any type of blood-thinning or anti-inflammatory medications

A non-surgical facelift with PDO threads starts by numbing the treatment area. We may use a combination of topical and injectable anesthesia. Nova Threads are implanted with a needle or cannula. The numbing treatment helps you feel comfortable during the procedure. If you do have any discomfort during the insertion of the PDO threads, please let us know. We will administer more numbing agents to help you feel relaxed.

The area will be numb for several hours after the procedure. Some patients experience numbness for the first 24 hours. You may have difficulty talking.
