Before your Kybella® injections are administered, a stencil will be applied to the area underneath the chin. This stencil maps out where your injections will be placed. Once the stencil is applied, a series of Kybella® injections will be made into your treatment area. This entire treatment process typically takes less than an hour to complete.

While there is no downtime or recovery period associated with Kybella® treatments, patients can expect mild redness and bruising around their injection sites.
